Seasonal Merchandiser (Steel Yard Commons)

Green Circle Growers has an immediate opening for a Seasonal Merchandiser to help in local big box retail stores. Hours will vary each week with no more than 40 hours per week. Hours available per week will be discussed based on your flexibility and availability at the time of hire.

Job Duties:

• Merchandisers will be responsible for displaying, pricing, and maintaining all annuals, perennials and houseplants that arrive at stores in space allocated by the stores
• Disposing of product as needed
• Building relationships with store management and associates
• Working with Green Circle Management if any issues occur

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 yrs. old
• Must be able to:
  • Perform manual tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Move, lift, and carry items/products up to 30lbs
    • Push/pull carts that can weigh up to 200lbs
    • Follow verbal and written direction
    • Bend, stoop, kneel, and climb
    • Have a positive attitude/be willing to work
    • Work in various temperatures
      • Able to work at a fast pace, with long periods of standing, bending and/or sitting
• Must adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
• Must have availability to work holidays and weekends
