Scope of Work: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Anesthesiologist to join our team at Providence VA Medical Center. As an Anesthesiologist, you will provide Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiology Physician Services on-site, delivering exceptional care to beneficiaries of the Department of Veteran Affairs. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing anesthesia pre-op, operative, and post-op care.
Appropriately documenting all care per Providence VAHCS policy.
Reporting to the facility within 30 minutes when on-call for airway emergencies.
Providing project support to assist in implementing staffing needs within the Providence VAHCS.
Offering coverage to the VA during personnel vacancies due to sick leave, personal leave, vacations, and additional coverage as required.
Ensuring timely replacement physician coverage within 2 hours in case of schedule changes.
Regular weekday coverage consisting of operating room (OR) coverage from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Off-hours coverage, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with availability for emergency airway management and emergent OR cases.
Availability within 15 minutes by phone and on-site within 30 minutes during on-call periods.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

Current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the US or the District of Columbia.
Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA), certified in BLS, ACLS, or equivalency.

Ability to provide anesthesia pre-op, operative, and post-op care.
Proficient in appropriately documenting all care per Providence VAHCS policy.
Willingness to provide project support and coverage during personnel vacancies.
Availability for regular weekday and off-hours coverage, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Prompt availability within 15 minutes by phone and on-site within 30 minutes during on-call periods.
