The Senior Business Systems Integration Manager will oversee the efficient and effective operation of corporate business applications, and underlying architecture, and support the integration of new applications while understanding business functional requirements and trends. They will work closely with the organization's senior leadership, and the user community to ensure seamless integration, automate data flows, and simplify the technical environment. Additionally, this role will manage the reporting environment, lead small work teams on projects, and provide guidance to teams responsible for maintaining corporate infrastructure, applications, and databases.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the efficient and effective operation of corporate business applications and underlying architecture, ensuring alignment with business functional requirements and trends.
  • Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot functional and technical issues, rapidly assessing and addressing risks that impact financial applications and supporting IT infrastructure.
  • Manage the reporting environment and develop reports using Cognos reporting tools to support changing business needs.
  • Lead small work teams on projects and assist in resource development within and across teams, supporting business application and infrastructure architecture layers.
  • Guide teams responsible for maintaining corporate infrastructure, applications, and databases.
  • Develop methods for implementing new products and customizations, ensuring thorough testing and user acceptance before implementation.
  • Utilize experience in developing databases and financial dashboards to support business requirements.
  • Apply SQL and other tools to extract, transform, and integrate data to meet business needs.
  • Create and maintain training documentation and conduct training sessions as needed.
  • Advocate for change control and issue resolution processes, formal release schedules, and release management.
  • Support internal control efforts in conjunction with the compliance program.


Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, computer science, management information systems, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in application and database design, development, implementation, and administration, including experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Knowledge of Deltek Application tools is required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint, Cognos, Time and Expense, SQL, system implementations, business process engineering, Costpoint security, training, and report writing. Experience integrating Costpoint with other business systems or ERP-related applications. Ability to promote and be accountable for quality customer service.
