Fast Food Cashier

Are you a friendly and professional cashier who is always ready to provide excellent customer service? If so, you might be a great fit for our quick service restaurant staff. As cashier, you will greet and serve customers as they enter the restaurant, respond to inquiries, and take orders for food and drinks. Our restaurant is busy, so we need someone to ensure that our customers receive their food and beverage orders quickly. Our ideal candidate is flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks, including cleanup of public areas, order packaging, and register tally at the end of the shift. Starting at $10 per hour

• Check the amount of money in the cash drawer at the start and close of each shift
• Keep the kitchen, dining room, and service areas clean and sanitized
• Inform customer of order total, accept cash or card payment and return the correct change if needed
• Respond to customer questions and assist them in deciding what to order
• Accept orders from customers, type them into the register, and send them to the kitchen staff

• Basic computer skills or experience using a POS system and cash register skills are desired
• Fundamental math skills are necessary to successfully take payments and return proper change to customers
• Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management abilities
• Experience handling money and payments in a cashier role preferred
• Customer service skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with customers and colleagues alike is needed
