Under the direction and supervision of the program director, to administer all functions of the Section 8 Program including but not limited to:
· Obtain, verify, and calculate all sources of income and resources to determine financial eligibility and continued participation. Ensure that all requirements for written, independent verification of information are met in an appropriate and timely manner
· Process all actions regarding program participants, including annual recertifications, interim household/rent adjustments, transfers, move-ins, and move-outs.
· Prepare HAP contracts and contacts landlords and participants to ensure their execution in accordance with program requirements
· Initiate termination of assistance for families for non-compliance, or non-performance, or other grounds in conformance with established Agency policy and procedure.
· Attend meetings, seminars, and conferences to keep abreast of new trends, activities, and concepts in HCVP. Supports assists and works with other Agencies and affiliated organizations in joint efforts; which are mutually beneficial.
· Assist in completion of all reports and forms required by the Dept. of HUD
· Undertake and perform other work-related duties as assigned including working in other functional areas to cover absences or provide relief, to equalize peak work periods, or otherwise balance the workload.
