A growing Kansas City company is looking to add a Staff Accountant to its team. Great benefits!
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for a variety of duties that include:
- Daily cash reporting
- Assist with month end close and financial reporting
- Preparation of journal entries
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Handle moving financial information from one bank to another
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Cash flow projects
- Help with getting caught up on property taxes
- Any other needs as assigned by the Manager
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1 year of experience in accounting is preferred, but would consider a new Graduate
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills, with a strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
