Project Manager (Enterprise Data Warehouse)

We are seeking a Project Manager with Enterprise Data Warehouse experience to support a federal government agency. This position requires a US citizenship or permanent residency to be eligible to obtain a Public Trust. Successful candidates must pass a background check. This position is contingent upon contract award. This is a direct hire. No C2C or third party please.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Define enterprise level business and technical requirements for enterprise data warehouse and system modernization ensuring alignment with program objectives.
• Develop and manage project schedules and work plans.
• Monitor project performance and measure in an effort to identify areas for improvement.
• Plan and develop technical project objectives, setting deadlines, and assigning tasks to appropriate personnel.
• Manage resources in an effective and efficient manner ensuring resource availability and appropriate allocation.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of all projects.
• Lead regular meetings with tech teams to capture progress, roadblocks, challenges, etc., identify solutions and next steps.
• Review project deliverables for quality standard adherence and conduct post-project evaluations with customers.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.
• Master's Degree preferred.

Required Experience:

• At least six (6) years managing large-scale projects related to enterprise data warehouse, business intelligence, big data, data analytics, and/or geospatial data.
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
• Communication and technology expertise.
• Experience with Scaled Agile methodologies.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Scaled Agile certifications, or similar certifications.
