AVER is seeking a Facial Biometric Examiner to focus on a mission critical program within DHS.

Responsibilities:

Perform multi-modal biometric comparisons or examinations, to include face and iris files/images utilizing government furnished equipment and technology.
Review and resolve instances where the biometric system is unable to determine a definitive result.
Receive and process biometric files/images and associated data for search of biometric system(s) to include pre-processing of images (e.g., image enhancement), image quality analysis, submission for search of biometric systems, comparing biometric images and providing/recording comparison results and associated case data when applicable, reviewing and resolving conflicting biometric identity records, and creating biometric files as requested by the Government.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

Experience Requirements:

At least 6 months of examination experience
Experience with Latent or Ten Print Examinations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desired Requirements:

Active Public Trust Clearance

Location:

Arlington, VA (Hybrid role)

Security Requirements:

This role supports a government agency which requires U.S. citizenship.
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
