Supply Chain Analyst

• Work location: hybrid -
• 3 days in office (Houston office - 13800 N fwy, Houston, TX, 77090;
• Phoenix office: 5780 S 40th St, Suite 1, Phoenix, AZ, 85040)
• Pay rate: 25-32 USD/h, can go as high as 35-36/hr
• Skills: strong excel skill, SAP or ERP experience is a great plus
• Contract:  Length: 6 months with the potential opportunity to become a FTE / contract extension

The Position:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical supply chain analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing data, monitoring supply chain performance, and identifying areas for improvement. This person will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain and reduce costs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. • Analyze data related to inventory, production, and supply chain performance.
2. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
3. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain.
4. • Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to ensure on-time delivery.
5. • Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
6. • Support the procurement team in negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliers.
7. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
8. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.

Minimum Requirements:

1. • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, accounting, or a related field.
2. • 2+ years of experience in supply chain analysis or a related field.
3. • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel or Tableau required.
4. • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
5. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
6. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Education or Desired License and Certificates:
8. • Experience with ERP systems and supply chain software is a plus.
