Miller Truck Leasing is hiring an experienced diesel or refrigeration/reefer technician to work out of our Brewster, NY shop. Ideal applicants will have an interest in advancing their career and technical knowledge.

Diesel Mechanic Technician Duties:

Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles
Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes (Company supplied OEM software) following proper warranty procedures
Repair / Replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments
Replace clutches & transmissions

Refrigeration Technician Duties:

Perform general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 refrigeration vehicles
Diagnose, document, and repair refrigeration equipment following proper warranty procedures

Requirements

Ability to work either

1st shift: Sunday-Wednesday 8:00am-6:30pm
2nd shift: Tuesday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm and Saturday 8:00am-4:30pm
2nd shift: Sunday-Thursday 2:00pm-10:30pm

Diesel Mechanic Technician Requirements:

3+ years working as a diesel mechanic, fleet mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic

Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors
A valid CDL (Class A or B) OR the ability to acquire a Commercial Driver License with the assistance of our trainer
Hand tools

Refrigeration Technician Requirements:

3 or more years experience working on a Refrigeration Unit and 608 certification
Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors
A valid CDL (Class A or B) or the ability to acquire a Commercial Driver License with the assistance of our trainer
Hand tools
