VEOLIA is immediately seeking an Environmental Manager to join their St. Louis Area Team!

The Environmental Manager oversees TWI's Environmental Compliance program, supporting EH&S performance across the organization. They manage branch-level implementation of health, safety, and transportation policies, ensuring compliance with regulations and permit conditions. This role liaises with regulatory agencies, prepares responses to permits and inquiries, and supports other managers in meeting H&S requirements. Administrative tasks and a deep understanding of regulations are key to success in this role.

Qualifications:

o Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science (or similar)

o Must have environmental regulatory or compliance experience (Specifically hazardous waste treatment, storage & disposal)

o Must have strong knowledge of the Resource Recovery & Conservation Act (RCRA) & Clean Air Act (CAA)

o Must have working knowledge of other federal & state regulations (Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), Clean Water Act (CWA), etc.)

o Must have a valid driver’s license

o Must have strong communication skills w/employees, peers, management & external contacts (written & verbal)

o Must have exceptional organizational & supervisory/leadership skills with the ability to efficiently manage time & resources

o Must be able to reside in or relocate to the Sauget, IL / St. Louis area (relocation assistance provided)

o Ability to pass a background check, drug test, & physical
