Traffic Engineer

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Traffic Engineer in Manhattan, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct traffic analysis using Synchro.
• Analyze crash data.
• Perform data collection.
• Write technical reports in Word.
• Perform qualitative analyses in Excel.
• Develop Maintenance and Protection of Traffic plans

Requirements

• Bachelor’s and/or Masters’ degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning or related field.
• 1 to 4 years of traffic engineering/transportation planning work experience in the US.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Open Roads (Microstation).
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Experience reading/using technical drawings.
• Experience preparing traffic impact studies (including SYNCHRO analysis).
• Knowledge of the AASHTO Highway Safety Manual.
• Knowledge of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
• Willingness to work collectively as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Effective time management.
