Retail Inventory Controller - Baby and Kids Boutique

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly organized Retail Inventory Manager to join our team at a bustling baby store in Las Vegas, Nevada with 3 locations. As the Retail Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory control to ensure the availability of products for our customers. This role involves maintaining optimal inventory levels, monitoring stock movement, inputting and tagging new products, and implementing efficient inventory management practices. 

**Responsibilities:**

• - Develop and implement inventory management procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory
• - Monitor inventory levels and track stock movement to prevent stock outs and overstock situations
• - Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and update inventory records accordingly
• - Coordinate with suppliers to place orders and replenish stock in a timely manner
• - Collaborate with the sales team to forecast demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly
• - Analyze sales data and trends to identify fast-selling products and slow-moving items
• - Implement strategies to improve inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs
• - Ensure that all inventory is properly labeled, organized, and stored in designated areas
• - Train and supervise floor staff to maintain high standards of inventory management
• - Resolve inventory discrepancies and investigate root causes to prevent future issues
• - Communicate with management regarding inventory status, trends, and any potential risks or opportunities
• - input and tag new products 
• - Hold inventory audits twice a year

**Qualifications:**

• - Retail Experience Preferred 
• - Proficiency in Shopify Software 
• - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• - Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• - Knowledge of baby products and market trends is a Plus but not required
