Job Title: Workday Platform Lead
Primary Location: REMOTE
Position Type: CONTRACT TO HIRE
Act as the Technical Leader for the implementation and ongoing support of the Workday Platform. This is a senior manager/Director level role and will include implementing Workday and defining the Workday roadmap, supporting strategic initiatives, and maximizing platform ROI, defining technical/development standards and SLAs, legal and privacy compliance, and the overall platform experience. As the Workday Platform Leader, you will work with Workday Developers, Support, Configuration team and the integration partner. You will own the Workday Product and be responsible for supporting the implementation and for providing ongoing optimization. You will be responsible for the Workday Services for the organization.
This is a remote 3-month contract to hire. Qualified candidates will be eligible to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship. Experience in Healthcare or the Hospital industry is required.
What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience)
8+ years of relevant work experience leading and optimizing Workday will ideally have hands-on Workday experience – technical knowledge for effective leadership.
- Have experience working on at least one full Workday implementation of all Workday modules in a hospital or Healthcare organization.
- Proven track record of leading large, complex, and cross-functional projects while flexing between run-the-business operations and strategic planning.
- Exceptional collaboration, listening, and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence and build effective working relationships with all levels of the organization.
- Workday Pro certification – nice to have
What You'll Do. (Skills Used in this Position)
- Lead and support the Workday implementation, unify ownership of the Workday platform defining the roadmap to support strategic initiatives, technical/development standards, SLAs, legal and privacy compliance and overall platform experience.
- Analyze existing processes, conduct benchmark analysis and understand best practices to identify and design opportunities scale and optimize the platform. Implement solutions that enhance the user experience and delight the business and users. Responsible for ensuring that the Workday Platform functionality is deployed and meeting business needs.
- Lead and mentor Workday teams, you will be responsible for hiring Workday resources to support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Workday under the direction of the IT VP. Determine team objectives, and manage, and allocate team resources to ensure balance between strategies.
- Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize projects, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and milestones. Act as the liaison between IT and the business and facilitate effective communication and alignment.
