Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Commercial Solar PV Design Engineer to join our team. This role involves consulting with the team on design issues, creating single line diagrams for interconnection, and managing the solar design process with external engineering firms to deliver complete, accurate plan sets. The ideal candidate will serve as a go-to technical expert in our company, demonstrating creativity in problem-solving and a knack for innovation in design.
Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with project teams to provide expert advice on solar PV system design.
• Create detailed single line diagrams for electrical interconnection of solar PV systems.
• Coordinate with external engineering firms to manage and oversee the complete design process, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and industry standards.
• Serve as the technical expert and point of reference for all queries related to solar PV design.
• Innovate and think creatively to solve complex design challenges and develop effective solutions.
• Maintain organized documentation and project files to ensure consistency and clarity across projects.
• Communicate effectively across teams and with stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
• Handle a high volume of projects, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines and project goals.
• Challenge existing ideas and foster a culture of innovation and critical thinking within the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in solar PV system design and energy engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles relevant to solar energy, including grid interconnection.
• Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to articulate complex technical details clearly and concisely.
• A track record of innovation and creative problem-solving.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
