Digital Content Specialist

As a member of the Marketing Team, the Digital Content Specialist is responsible for the technical administration of the content management system (CMS). Primary responsibilities include maintenance and training of store page templates and special features, HTML and working with and coordinating content requests from Johnstone Distributors and Service Team staff, as needed.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Monday - Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Position responsibilities:

• Own and coordinate the technical administration of the team's Content Management System (CMS), managing user provisioning and coordinating closely with our tools and QA team to successfully test and launch new content features.
• Responsible for managing Distributor-approved CMS global & local templates as well as coordination of which templates are “in use” among Distributor groups.
• Monthly store page audits to facilitate brand compliance.
• Create and improve online customer experience using analytics to enhance UX.
• Support advertising team with web development, web graphic design for johnstonesupply.com.

Position requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university school in marketing or related field; at least two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least two years of experience in graphic design layout/production; experience working with automated layout and coding; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• A Google Analytics Certification, JAVA knowledge or UX/UI Certification is preferred but not required for this position.
• Project management skills: establishing objectives, timelines, and deadlines; action planning to meet deadlines; evaluating project status compared to objectives.
• Problem-solving skills: listening to, interpreting, and meeting the needs of others; diagnosing and rectifying problems.
