Location: Cleveland, OH
Salary: $65,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Production Supervisor – Sanitation Day Shift Description

Our client in the baking/food processing industry is looking for a Production Supervisor - Sanitation to add to their team in Cleveland, OH. Reporting to the Sanitation Manager, you will be responsible for adherence to food safety laws, managing the sanitation team, and working cross-functionally with other teams in the plant. You will also ensure the night shift starts each shift with a clean and acceptable working environment. To be successful in the role, you must have 3+ years in a supervisory role and at least one year of food safety or sanitation experience. Production Supervisor – Sanitation Day Shift Responsibilities

•    Inspect and report any malfunctioning equipment or accidents in less than 24 hours
•    Manage the daily job functions and schedules of all subordinates 
•    Ensure all steps are completed in a timely fashion to the highest standards
•    Assist in the discipline of union personnel
•    Train and develop immediate subordinates for advancement
•    Attend and participate in posted company meetings
•    Assist in the performance reviews of subordinates
•    Adhere to and maintain OSHA standards, GMPs, Safety, and HAACP policy
•    Work cross-functionally with other managers to ensure sanitation and safety standards are kept

Production Supervisor – Sanitation Day Shift Qualifications

•    3+ years of Supervisory experience required
•    1+ years in Sanitation or Food Safety required
•    Familiarity with Sanitation Scheduling Software required
•    Able to work in hot or cold environments occasionally required
