Inside Sales Engineer
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Selecting pumps for industrial and refrigeration applications (some with software assistance, some manually)
- Preparing and submitting quotes to potential customers
- Preparing bid proposals for EPC’s (under supervision)
- Keeping quote logs up to date
- Entering and maintaining high quality level data in CRM
- Communication with prospects and customers
- Follow up and tracking of projects and bids
- Assist Project Engineer with external project management:
- Keeping protocol of meetings up to date
- Follow up on due dates and pending actions
- Communication between parties
- Occasional travel to assist outside sales (less than 10%)
- Occasional international travel to headquarters and international customers (less than 10%)
- Occasional support at trade shows
- Ordering of equipment at factory and sub suppliers
- Tracking of orders and incoming shipments
- Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the product line and keep improving level of knowledge
- Maintain awareness of pertinent client information, enter into company CRM
- Research products and markets for sales
- Create and maintain reference lists and installation lists as required
- Obtain and maintain knowledge of competition
- Miscellaneous
Education, skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or related)
- Minimum three years of experience in pump industry or related industries
- Minimum three years of experience in similar position
- Possesses an aptitude for sales
- MS Office products (Required)
- Possess the eligibility to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
