Our Client has a permanent position for a Project Manager in the Charlotte area (remote office).
This is a great company that offers a fantastic environment and is growing rapidly. They are a $75 million company with incredibly low turnover due to the great ownership.
General Description:
The Project Manager is responsible for bidding the project through the award stage, pre-construction, project construction, administrative duties, site visits, and project completion and close out processes.
Essential Functions of the job:
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Manages project through bid, award, construction, and completion phases
• Communicates daily with owner, construction Superintendents, and internal divisions
• Manages RFI’s, submittals and change orders and financial impacts.
• Attends regular scheduled site visits as required by the project client.
Required Skills / Abilities:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Ability to establish collaborative relationships and communications with clients.
Other Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial construction
• Basic commercial construction process and industry fundamentals
• Project management experience, including all elements of scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, resources and communications.
• Ground up experience in financial, retail, medical service, and/or the restaurant industry is preferred.
