Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team at Atlas Crane. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of our office, as well as assisting with general administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience, strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to multitask effectively. Though not required, knowledge of and experience with cranes and/or the construction industry is a bonus.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• All aspects of accounting (invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, bank reconciliation, cash/check deposits, collections, and payroll)
• Assist with answering phones and dispatching during peak phone times
• Cost management and the creation of budgets and budgets
• Confer with and provide data to external CPA and upper management as needed and directed
• Assist with insurance applications and renewals
• Generating and tracking purchase orders
• Enter new customers/vendors in the system and develop/maintain solid customer/vendor relations
• Establish and maintain fiscal records
• Participate in educational opportunities and maintain professional networks
• Maintain company's core values and best practices
• Assist with HR-related tasks
• Other duties as assigned

Pay commensurate with experience and education.
