Position: Full Charge Bookkeeper

Opportunity: This is an exciting opportunity to join our team to develop and implement bookkeeping systems/procedures to control costs, provide management and BOD with key information to make better informed decisions, monitor progress of strategic initiatives, and assure regulatory compliance working with our accounting vender.

We are seeking a hands-on high energy individual to become a key part of the Parker Team of dedicated professionals. This is a full time 100% on site position at our beautiful office in Danbury CT.

We are seeking an associate who has the experience to perform the core responsibilities and is very comfortable with the processes and subject matter associated with this position.

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized bookkeeper to join our team. The bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and reports, ensuring all transactions are recorded promptly, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements.

This position reports directly to the CEO.

Duties:

· Record day-to-day financial transactions maintain records, and launch reports and financial statements

· Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable

· Managing bank and general ledger reconciliations, as well as payroll postings

· Tracking fixed assets and preparing depreciation schedules

· Preparing quarterly tax filings

· Performing month-end closings

· Preparing trial balances

· Assisting with job estimates for pricing

· Effective Project Management

· Effective participation in meetings

Qualifications:

• Proven bookkeeping experience with a minimum with 3-5 years with a manufacturing business
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
• Proficiency with cloud based business accounting software
• Proficiency with ERP in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Education:

• Bachelors or Associate’s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience.

Salary Range:

$62,500 to $75,000 Depending on Qualifications
