Medical Transcriptionist / Scribe- Full or part time in the office

We are seeking a Medical Transcriptionist to join our team! You will transcribe medical reports by physicians and other healthcare practitioners.

Responsibilities:

• Transcribe reports from medical personnel
• Translate abbreviations into proper form
• Review reports for completeness
• Transcribe while in the room with doctor and patient
• Correct errors in transcription, grammar, punctuation and spelling
• Records
• answer phones

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in medical transcription or other related fields
• Familiarity with transcription devices
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Strong attention to detail
• RECORDS MANAGEMENT and EHR.
• MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY AND CODING.
• PATIENT PRIVACY AND HIPAA COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS.
• Must be able to type no less then 55 words per minute

This is a full time position: Monday thru Thursday 8:30am- 5:30 or later as needed. Friday 8:30-12:30pm.
