Apartment Maintenance Technician

AMLI Evanston is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the team! As the Maintenance Technician , you will assist in maintaining the efficient operation and upkeep of the 214 unit building.

Duties include:

• Perform maintenance services such as: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement, etc.
• Respond in a timely manner to resident service requests.
• Turn vacant units to a "make ready" status.
• Be available to work on call, including a rotating schedule of weekends and nights.
• Conduct  inspections as required, per policy and participate in preventative maintenance to include pool, exterior lighting, filter changes and apartment inspections. 
• Clean work area, tools and equipment. Care, maintain, and inventory all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Availability for on call and weekend rotation
• HVAC Certified (type 1 and 2 or Universal)
