Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse Radiation Oncology to join our team! A Registered Nurse provides direct and indirect care through the application of the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating care rendered. The nurse will address physical, psychosocial, educational, and rehabilitative needs of the patient and family.
Responsibilities:
- Assesses and prioritizes patient's physiological and psychological needs, formulates patient care plans, and modifies as needed
- Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Educate patients about health maintenance
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provides health-related education and counseling for patients and family members
- Plans strategies for solving patient care problems with other patient care team members
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
