Job Description:

We're seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for a role based in New York City. The ideal candidate will possess strong software development skills, expertise in cloud-native development with Azure, and proficiency in DevOps practices, particularly CI/CD.

Top 3 Skills:

• Strong software development skills (unit testing, design patterns, coding)
• Cloud Native development (Azure, App Services, Azure Identities, etc.)
• DevOps (CI/CD Expertise)

Skills Required:

• Experience in any of the following cloud service providers Azure.
• Experience in Kubernetes and Container-based technologies.
• Sound experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• Develop tooling and self-service capabilities.
• Strong development skills in Python, Java, or Golang
• Sound experience in scripting languages such as shell scripting.
• Experience in leading development projects in distributed enterprise environments.
• Experience setting up new development projects using modern tools and practices including git, Jenkins, test-driven development, and continuous integration in a Linux-based environment.
• Sound knowledge of infrastructure and cloud computing
• Ability to mentor and develop Jr. programmers, including participating in constructive code reviews.
• Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to enhance the developer experience.

Desired Skills:

• 3+ years of experience working in Azure.
• Working with teams using Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile practices
• Proficiency with standard Linux command line and debugging tools.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, especially to manage and configure compute and storage infrastructure.
• Knowledge of how to write comprehensive unit tests, including mocking of external utilities and APIs.
