Purpose:

Under limited supervision, operates all completed equipment pertaining to concrete pumps & mixers. Thoroughly checks all functions to insure proper mechanical and electrical operation to assure the customer receives a high quality, trouble-free product.

Essential Job Functions:

• Follow test procedures as outlined for each specific unit.
• Complete appropriate test sheets and initials, indicating successful testing.
• Document and perform repair work and adjustments as necessary indicating nature and extent of malfunctions.
• Complete final visual/mechanical inspection to insure that each unit is completed and certifies it as ready and operational for the next stage - painting.
• Read and interpret both electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Work with high-pressure hydraulics that exceed system values.
• Perform final pre-delivery check of units to ensure it is ready for operation. Also recheck sales options.
• Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or modified either formally or informally, either in writing or verbally at the discretion of Management.

Requirements:

Physical Demands:

• Perform repetitive work while moving around, under, and over equipment while on the production floor 95% of the time
• Perform work outdoors in all weather 5% of the time

Education/Skills/Experience:

• Two years Vocational training in Hydraulics and Electrical systems.
• 5 plus years of industry experience, technical experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of the construction equipment industry.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skill
• Basic PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel), knowledge of SAP a plus
• Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks and coordinate complex activities
