Employee Benefits Specialist

Cornerstone PEO is looking for an Employee Benefits Specialist to join the Human Resources department! 

With employee benefits being an essential part of Human Resources, our ideal candidate would be an organized, goal-oriented, people-driven individual who can help support the structure of the Benefits department. The ideal candidate would be responsible for managing the administration of employee benefits in collaboration with our clients, their employees, our partners, and our HR team. This role offers an incredible opportunity for someone with proficiency in employee benefits, expertise in data management, and outstanding communication skills. 

Responsibilities include:

 Maintain and update employee records within our benefits portal. 
 Support benefits administration, enrollment changes, open enrollment, and ACA reporting. 
 Assist in scheduling and hosting introduction calls between clients and vendors. 
 Answer employee questions relating to benefit offerings. 
 Run regular system audits to ensure compliance and accurate reporting. 
 Generate basic reports for leadership and other HQ team members.
 Support distribution and collection of benefit renewal documents. 
 Attend weekly/monthly meetings hosted by our benefit brokers to stay up to date on regulation changes. 
 Collect information from clients interested in enrolling in our benefits program, to support the underwriting team and the installation of benefits. 
 Other duties as assigned.
