Job Description

Unique hiring opportunity. NWON seeks individuals with at least 6 months of VERIFIABLE professional child care experience. We are offering a paid work readiness class with compensation up to $500 per individual, FREE CDA Training for those interested in a professional career in child care in a pre school environment. We have entry level to experienced teaching positions available with benefits. Entry level starting pay rate is $15.00 per hour and free CDA training. Those with a CDA will start at $17 per hour or higher. Associates degree begin at $20 per hour and Bachelors degree pay begins at $22 per hour or higher. Candidates must have a Clean criminal background, be able to pass an FBI clearance, physical, a PA child abuse clearance, pass a 10 panel drug test, and available to work Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm or 9 am to 5:30 pm. Weekends off. Must have a HS diploma or GED. We have 27 open positions in the following neighborhoods: University City, Lower Northeast, Strawberry Mansion, South Philadelphia, Germantown, and Mount Airy. Serious candidates only. Previous experience can be as a summer camp counselor, child care provider, or teacher.
