A Better Day ABA provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy in the home setting and has a clinical setting opening soon in the Williamsburg area. We are currently looking for individuals to join our team as behavior technicians.

A behavior technician is an individual who provides one on one ABA therapy to our young special-needs clients under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). While experience in the field of ABA is preferred, it is not required. 

In addition to initial training, all behavior technicians receive direct supervision while in the home with their client and weekly in the office setting.

What we offer:

• All session materials provided, including technology for data collection and note writing
• Scheduled paid time outside of direct sessions for team meetings and office supervision 
• Intensive (and free) supervision program for BCBA and BCaBA candidates 

$23 hourly to start

• Provide 1:1 applied behavior analysis in home, center, and community-based environments by implementing individualized treatment plans (ISPs) developed by BCBAs
• Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan
• Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals (write session notes and meet with your supervisor regularly to discuss progress)

• Must have excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
• Must have reliable transportation to get to client homes and office/clinic
• Must take data on an iPad/tablet and complete computer generated session notes
• Must be able to lift (50lbs), bend, sit on the floor, and engage in active play
• Must complete 40 hour RBT training program before working with our team
