Housekeeper at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Buffalo Airport

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in various areas of our establishment. This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring our facilities are tidy, hygienic, and inviting for our guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas.

2. Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free from debris.

3. Change linens and towels regularly, ensuring a fresh and welcoming environment.

4. Restock amenities and supplies in guest rooms and common areas.

5. Monitor and report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.

6. Follow established procedures for handling and disposing of waste and recyclables.

7. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a hazard-free workplace.

8. Assist guests with inquiries and requests in a professional and courteous manner.

9. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.

10. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and presentation to enhance the guest experience.

Requirements:

1. Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred.

2. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.

3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

6. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.

7. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.

8. Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $16.00/hour.
