Junior Accountant

Job Description: Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our clients team as a Junior Accountant. In this role, you will work closely with our accounting team to assist with various financial tasks and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling accounts
• Help prepare financial statements and reports on a regular basis
• Conduct reconciliations of bank statements and other financial documents
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Support the senior accounting team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous internship or work experience in accounting or finance
• Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
