Finance Manager

Job Summary:
Griffith Ford San Marcos is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to join our team in San Marcos, Texas. This is a full-time management position in the fast-paced and dynamic auto industry. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities within our dealership, including financing and insurance services for customers. Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, base plus commission sales position with a competitive salary and benefits package. In addition to a base salary, you will have the opportunity to earn commission based on your performance and sales results. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all finance and insurance activities within the dealership, including managing sales transactions and financing options for customers
- Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions to secure favorable financing rates and terms for customers
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and offer appropriate financing and insurance options to customers
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to financing and insurance transactions
- Manage and train finance and insurance department staff to ensure a high level of customer service and accurate record-keeping
- Monitor and analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving dealership profitability
- Stay informed about market trends and changes in financing and insurance options to inform decision-making
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive finance or a similar role
- Experience in sales and customer service is highly preferred
- Up-to-date knowledge of financing and insurance options in the auto industry
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
- Proficiency in MS Office and financial software
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
