Informatica Administrator - Jefferson City

We are seeking an Informatica Administrator for an IT Services firm, focusing on the sophisticated administration and management of the Informatica PowerCenter data integration platform. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing and maintaining the PowerCenter environment. This responsibility is essential for ensuring the platform's performance, security, and availability.

The role is onsite, based in Chicago, IL, or Jefferson City, MO. It is a temporary, full-time position with an expected duration of one year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the installation, configuration, and upgrades of Informatica PowerCenter, ensuring high-availability setups are in place.
• Optimize ETL processes and system performance through targeted administrative techniques.
• Administer security measures, including encryption and access control, to protect data integrity.
• Maintain and update disaster recovery plans, reinforcing business continuity.
• Manage scalable, high-availability configurations with effective load balancing.
• Establish monitoring and alerting frameworks for consistent performance tracking and issue detection.
• Undertake capacity planning to support the expansion of data volumes and processing capabilities.
• Collaborate with data architects, providing administrative insight for data integration strategies.
• Provide mentorship to junior administrators and lead complex data integration projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards and support audits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years as an Informatica Administrator, with focus on complex ETL environments.
• Expert knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter architecture, advanced administration, and security.
• Proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
