Position: LICENSED CLIINICAL SOCIAL WORKER (LCSW)
Location: New Mexico
Contract: 5 Years
Pay-Rate : $55/Hourly
Summary:-
The temporary Licensed Clinical Social Worker shall be responsible for delivering a range of social work services to adults with complex social, emotional, psychiatric, and behavioral challenges while demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge of behavioral health challenges, mental health symptomatology and presentation, substance use disorder treatment as well as ancillary socio-medical concerns .
Minimum Qualifications for Social Worker: -
  • Have successfully completed all the requirements for the master's degree in social Work. from an accredited School of Social.
  • Have at least three (3) years of professional work experience/training as a Licensed Social Worker.
  • Must be a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) through D.C. Department of Health, Health Professional Licensing Administration; LGSW licensed social workers can be considered.
Duties:-
  • Serving as team lead and a member of the multi-disciplinary assessment team.
  • Assessing clients; participating in the assessment and referral process and making recommendations for treatment.
  • Providing comprehensive psychosocial assessment to adults over the age of 21- year-old that are seeking substance use disorder treatment.
  • Application of American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria in in determining treatment level of care.
  • Provide brief counseling to clients during assessment as appropriate.
  • Make appropriate social service referrals that support client recovery.
  • Coordinating client referral to chosen treatment provider by providing accurate clinical assessment information.
  • Advocating for client needs as pertains to level of care recommendations.
  • Collaborating with collateral contacts to ensure accurate clinical assessment information. Identifying psychiatric health needs and working with clinical assessment team to determine the need for additional services.
  • Providing crisis intervention as needed to adults seeking behavioral health assessments.
  • Complete mandatory trainings
  • Obtain authorizations for in-patient admissions and arrange transportation arrangements through the patient's insurance provider.
  • Knowledge of American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V) a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of the theories, principles, practices, and techniques of social work, as evidenced by a master's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work . Skilled in biopsychosocial assessments and level of care determinations including differential diagnoses.
