Job Summary
Rivia Mind is looking to grow our Psychiatry team. We are seeking a Psychiatrist who enjoys providing quality patient care, clinical guidance and multi-disciplinary collaboration. Our practice supports a philosophy of care that leverages a holistic approach to treatment. This role will utilize diverse Psychotherapy and Psychopharmacology methods to provide quality care.
The individual hired for this role will need to start with us before the end of 2024. The individual for this role should be interested in growing into a supervisory capacity.

Job Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop curated patient centered treatment plans
- Provide appropriate Psychotherapy practices that leverage various modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, etc.) with proper Psychopharmacology prescribing practices
- Appropriately prescribe medication prescriptions & refills considering best judgement of the patients wellbeing
- Provides clinical support & counseling to diverse patient populations in a tele-health environment
- Curate comprehensive patient-centered treatment plans and provide resources as needed
- Provide clinical guidance and valued input with patients and peers
- Provide services to a diverse demographic of patients with an average caseload of 50 patients per week / around 10 per day (Caseload numbers may vary based on clinical judgment, patient needs, etc.)
- Participate in and support routine and ad-hoc clinical-wide meetings and internal trainings to foster an engaging and continuous learning team environment
- Be an ambassador of Rivia Minds culture by exemplifying our values and working with our mission at the forefront
- Comply with clinical standards and adhere to timely and thorough session note documentation
- Promote a friendly work culture that encourages a fun, collaborative, and co-learning environment that benefits individuals well-being, self improvement and potential
- Provide support to Psychiatric Supervisors as needed for coverage and other administrative tasks
- Perform other related role and team function duties as assigned by department and group leaders
Qualifications
Required Education Level: Doctorate
Education Details:
- Earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited school
- Completed a Psychiatry residency program, completing diverse rotations including Primary Care within the training program
- Additional residencies appreciated are: Neurology, Internal Medicine, and Obstetrics-gynecology
Licensure/Certification Requirements
- Active and in good standing license for at least one of these states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, or Massachusetts as a Medical Doctor
- Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine and DEA number for at least one of the states listed above
- Board certified in Psychiatry
Additional Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
- Three or more years of post-residency clinical work experience in Psychiatry
- Interest to grow into a Supervisory role within our practice
- Confidently and efficiently document concurrently within patient sessions
- Proven experience and desire to support Psychotherapy treatment
- Psychotherapy Modality experience (CBT, DBT, etc.)
- Prescribes Medications
- Experience working with Patients in an Outpatient setting
- Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills
- Telehealth/telemedicine experience
- Patient Education
- Diagnosis and Treatment Planning
- Electronic health records (EHR) Software
- Proficient with utilizing diverse technology platforms and systems (Google Suite, company wide platforms/software and EHR platforms when applicable)
- Intermediate computer skills and technical aptitude required

Compensation & Employment Details
Pay Range: $220,000 to $300,000 base salary
Pay Type: Salary
Bonus Terms: $150 bonus per weekly overage of 50 patients standard. Paid out on a quarterly basis

Work Environment: Remote or Hybrid option in NYC
Work Schedule: Variable - 40 hours a week - Some Evening and Weekend availability is beneficial (partial hours beneficial - such as 4 hours on a Saturday.)
