Qualifications of an ideal Floor Tech:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience
• CPR Certified

Floor Tech Job Summary:

The Floor Technician performs assigned floor cleaning and related housekeeping duties within established quality care and service standards.

1. Support mission, vision, and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting company culture and vision.

2. Clean and service floors in public/common areas and private Resident areas in accordance with established health, hygiene, and appearance policies and regulations (including safety and risk management) and in order of priority established by supervisor.

3. Follow all housekeeping protocols and procedures in vacuuming carpet, and cleaning, mopping, and polishing hard surface floor areas to maintain high-gloss polished appearance. Refinish floors and deep clean carpet on scheduled basis.

4. Take out trash and assist with other housekeeping duties.
