Inventory Associate

We are looking to add a POU Technician/Tool Crib Attendant to our team in Lansing, MI!

This is a contract, third shift (10:30 pm - 7:00 am), M-F position (benefits available), for $18-$20/hour.

Job Duties:

• Performs duties with limited supervision following established procedures and deadlines
• Interacts with suppliers to insure they are providing adequate service to our customer
• Assures all deliveries are secured and put away in proper location. Spot Buys are delivered to the requestor. Works with customer to identify all items and locate them in the proper place.
• Be qualified to operate necessary customer systems to perform job functions (i.e. SAP, Maximo, Word and Excel).
• Maintain multiple clean, safe, organized cribs/POUs and surrounding areas. 
• Perform cycle counting activities of crib and POU (point of use) locations
• Maintaining, optimization, and restocking locations throughout the plant
• Contribute to periodic Inventory Activities on site and elsewhere within company as needed
• Keep Site Manager apprised of matters resolved (and how handled) and of matters requiring Site Manager's attention
• Education of product to be able to assist with technical support needs

Requirements:

• High School or GED
• 1-year related experience or training
• Basic math, computer (Microsoft Office), and communication skills
• Ability to communicate and problem solve
• Ability to stand, walk, reach
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs.
