Job Description

Use technical expertise in the development of machine installation and modification plans.
Prepare, troubleshoot, and confirm equipment at vendors site and/or in PE lab during project preparation, equipment runoff, and during project installation phase with focused activity to ensure safety and quality compliance standards are met.
Performs online and offline PLC programming
Primary support to NAMCs for auxiliary equipment (robot teaching, handling device adjustment) for new die introduction.
Periodic support to NAMCs to investigate and countermeasure mass production problems.

Requirements:

Electronics & Controls Understanding
Press mechanics Understanding
Root cause analysis & c/m determination
Good communication skills to work in a team environment with internal and external customers.
Fundamental knowledge of mechanics of materials.
Fundamental knowledge of tooling and machining.

Additional skills preferred:

Robot programming
Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems Understanding
2 year Technical Degree +1 year heavy equipment and/or press experience or 3 years heavy equipment and/or press experience

Qualifications preferred:

2 year Technical Degree + 3 years heavy equipment and/or press experience
Ability to travel to support at other locations, domestic and international; 40% travel to other sites in USA, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Switzerland, etc.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as required to perform functions

Duties include:
