Operations Lead - Insurtech

Zaya Care is a venture-backed startup with a mission to establish a new standard of affordable, preventative care, beyond the traditional hospital setting. We are a high growth Insurtech startup backed by top investors including Tiger Global and Inspired Capital. This position offers a leadership opportunity to work alongside the CEO to manage operations at a scaling tech company.

As Operations Lead at Zaya, you’ll build and scale our initial processes into scalable, robust systems that can grow with our operational needs. You’ll report directly to the CEO, build out our revenue cycle function, and manage various other operational areas crucial to our growth. We’re looking for someone who blends sharp strategic thinking with proactive problem-solving, all while thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Build and lead our benefits verification team from the ground up, optimizing eligibility & billing practices to maximize revenue efficiency.
• Direct our credentialing and licensing processes, improving operational workflows to accelerate insurance enrollments, allowing our providers to quickly begin offering insurance-covered care
• Develop a seamless provider onboarding experience in close collaboration with the Sales team, ensuring smooth integration into our credentialing and eligibility services.
• Lead the development and implementation of new strategic projects, such as outcome measuring and care coordination initiatives, to enhance healthcare delivery and strengthen our ability to negotiate on behalf of our providers.
• Manage and leverage key metrics like claims realization rates, eligibility error margins, denials, credentialing durations, and enrollment timelines to boost customer satisfaction and optimize internal efficiency

Through strategic partnerships with insurance carriers, we eliminate the risk and administrative hurdles associated with insurance, enabling entrepreneurial providers to launch and expand successful in-network practices, ultimately increasing access to affordable healthcare across the US.

By fostering partnerships with insurance carriers, we remove the risk and administrative barriers associated with taking insurance, thereby empowering entrepreneurial providers to launch and grow successful in-network practices. Through Zaya, more and more providers accept insurance for the first time, increasing access to care in the US.

Salary of $110,000 - $145,000, plus equity package

In-person working in NYC; expected presence 3 days a week
