Lead Financial Analyst

Join us at our innovative client, a leader in Energy, committed to pushing the boundaries of technology and driving forward innovation. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Value Specialist to join the Technology + Innovation Lab (T+IL) and play a pivotal role in shaping the future.

Position Overview: As the Lead Financial Analyst for the Technology + Innovation Lab, you will be responsible for executing all value and finance-related matters within the Lab. This includes leading process design, shaping business cases, and tracking and communicating impact. You will work closely with the Lab Executive team to drive the performance and focus of the self-organizing Agile teams. This role requires a deep understanding of financial modeling and the ability to gather information from various stakeholders to develop compelling business cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide critical business recommendations supported by robust value chain analysis.
• Lead the identification and articulation of key operating and financial measures for proposed solutions.
• Manage the intake and record-keeping of decision support material, advising on business opportunities.
• Track and maintain records for all idea evaluations from ideation through discovery.
• Lead cross-functional exchange sessions for knowledge sharing.
• Design and own the value realization framework for the Technology + Innovation Lab.
• Manage the Idea Intake Funnel for the Lab.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years (preferred 10 years) of experience in a high-paced quantitative environment, ideally with native digital companies.
• Experience building financial models and analyzing value capture metrics (e.g., ROI, EBITDA).
• Background in accounting, finance, or consulting is an asset.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and leading cross-functional, self-organizing teams.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree such as CFA or MBA preferred.

Working Conditions:

• On-site hybrid role with occasional travel to other Lab locations.
• Flexible to travel and work outside of standard office hours.
