Job Description

Alpine Air Heating & Air Conditioning, a small but rapidly growing company in Chester, NY, is looking for a dispatcher. We are seeking an individual who will be reliable, possesses great communication and phone skills, who can build relationships with new and existing customers. If you are a highly detail oriented individual with strong knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office products and general office procedures, please contact us. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Full time, office hours 7:30am – 4:30pm M-F.

 

The Role will include the following functions:

· Customer Service – Answering phones and answering questions effectively. Handle urgent and emergency situations as they arise

· Dispatching - scheduling service and maintenance appointments, reschedule appointments, manage communication with service techs.

· Provide administrative support as needed

· Maintain detailed customer database for marketing activities and client communications in support of the sales and service departments.

· Be flexible and able to plan, organize, and complete assignments with minimum direction

· Operation of standard office equipment

· Develop effective working relationships with customers, suppliers and other employees

· Follow and manage processes to increase efficiency

 

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

· The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively handle multiple priorities in a calm and professional manner

· Have a good work ethic and be a self-starter

· Display strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills

· Display strong written and verbal communication skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required

· Ability to learn new software programs

· Exercises a high level of initiative, judgment, and decision making in order to achieve organizational objectives

· Knowledge of electronic filing procedures

· Have reliable transportation

· Confidentiality
