CNC Programmer (NX or Mastercam)! 5 Axis- 90-130K DOE.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications to develop CNC programs for aerospace components using Siemens NX software.
2. Optimize CNC programs for efficiency, accuracy, and reliability while minimizing production time and material waste.
3. Collaborate with engineering teams to address design requirements, manufacturing constraints, and quality standards.
4. Conduct simulations and virtual machining to verify CNC programs and identify potential issues before actual production.
5. Troubleshoot and debug CNC programs to resolve machining errors, tooling issues, and geometric discrepancies.
6. Perform toolpath optimization, tool selection, and cutting parameter adjustments to enhance machining performance.
7. Generate setup sheets, work instructions, and documentation to guide machinists and ensure consistent manufacturing processes.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in CNC technology, and best practices for aerospace manufacturing.
9. Adhere to safety protocols, quality procedures, and regulatory requirements in all aspects of CNC programming and machining operations.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives, cost reduction efforts, and process enhancements.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field.
2. Proficiency in Siemens NX software for CAD/CAM programming and machining operations.
3. Strong understanding of CNC machining principles, G-code programming, and machining processes.
4. Experience in aerospace manufacturing or a related industry with knowledge of aerospace materials, standards, and specifications.
5. Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and technical specifications.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machining issues and optimize CNC programs.
7. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
8. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
9. Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, and other aerospace quality management systems is a plus.
10. Prior experience with multi-axis CNC machining centers, turning centers, and/or EDM machines preferred.
