Title: Computed Tomography Technologist - Imaging (Temp)
Location: Glens Falls, NY
Shift Hours: Day Shift

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our Imaging team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.

Essential Generic Job Functions:

• Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
• Administer contrast media as required. Monitor patient vital signs during procedures. Maintain accurate records of patient data and scan results
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses. Perform quality control and maintenance tasks on CT scanners
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in CT imaging. Provide excellent patient care and customer service
  

Job Required:

• Associate's degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology or Bachelor's in Radiologic Technologies
• Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Registration with the ARRT (R). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• 1-2 years of experience in CT imaging. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiographic techniques
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
  

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience with CT scanners and imaging software
• Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Certification in other modalities (e.g., MRI, mammography)
