Construction Sales Manager – Charlotte, NC
Our Charlotte-based commercial construction client is seeking a Construction Sales Manager for their office. The Construction Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business opportunities and establishing relationships with potential clients. The Construction Sales Manager works under the supervision of the President/CEO and will provide oversite to Inside Sales Supervisor and Sales Representatives. The candidate selected must align with our client’s core values.
This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and benefit package. No visa sponsorship or C2C arrangements are available.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Displays internally and externally assertive professional work behavior that is honest, accountable, respectful, and profitable.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients to ensure continued business growth.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate, close, and finalize contracts with clients.
  • Gather and analyze market and competitor information to improve sales strategies.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and goals.
  • The effectiveness in safeguarding information in reports, written materials, or other confidential material/information/conversations.
  • Follows applicable safety, health, and environmental rules and guidelines. Uses appropriate protective equipment.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university in business administration or a related field.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and practices, with Salesforce Experience as a plus.
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, building codes, and industry standards preferred.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in project execution.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative while being a team player.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, reliable vehicle, & proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage.
