Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting furniture and related products to various destinations in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate and drive a Class A commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
Transport furniture and related products from our warehouse to customer locations, retail stores, and distribution centers
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with company standards
Maintain accurate records of shipments, mileage, and hours of service
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
Follow established routes and schedules while making adjustments as needed to accommodate changes in delivery requirements
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and warehouse facilities

Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial truck driver
Ability to operate and maintain various types of commercial vehicles and equipment
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
High school diploma or equivalent
