Location: San Jose, CA (work from home flex) - Must be located in Bay Area
Base Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 DOE + Commission + Bonus (1st year OTE = $160k - $180k+)

Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Travel: 50% Local Car-Based Travel to support the Bay area, no overnight travel required

Territory Sales Rep (Plumbing/Mechanical contractor Sales exp req.) Description

Our client in the Mechanical and Industrial solutions industry is looking for a Territory Sales Representative to add to their team in San Jose, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and identifying opportunities with existing accounts and prospecting for new opportunities. To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to interpret construction bid documents to identify equipment selections and pricing. Ideal candidates will have experience selling solutions to plumbing and mechanical contractors in the Bay Area and a solid mechanical aptitude. Territory Sales Rep (Plumbing/Mechanical contractor Sales exp req.) Responsibilities

• Prospect and create opportunities and track project progress
• Create proposals and follow up on proposal requests
• Assist in response to submittal comments from contractors or design engineers
• Develop strong working relationships with the engineering community
• Assist the Quote Developers as needed with writing for prior approval
• Select equipment using the manufacturer’s sizing software
• Work with the quotation department to review plans and specifications
• Schedule customer visits, Lunch and Learns, and appointments
• Stay up to date on new product offerings and changes to existing products
• Provide timely updates on project activity to the Business Tracking System
• Maintain an accurate call report log and activity record

Territory Sales Rep (Plumbing/Mechanical contractor Sales exp req.) Qualifications

• 2+ years of Outside Sales experience required
• 1+ years of selling to plumbing and mechanical contractors experience required
• 1+ years of reading and interpreting construction bid documents experience required
• CRM or ERP experience required
