Fiscal Services Director

Job Description-The Financial Services Director for NOVUS Health will hold oversight of all financial matters impacting the organizations financial stability. This position holds a key role overseeing the agencies 340B program, Revenue Cycle management, Grants Management, fundraising and donor support. This position will supervise key positions that may be associated with accounting, 340B coordination as well as grant and donor related support staff. This individual will have daily oversight of fiscal management duties including bank transactions, accounts receivables and accounts payable. Leading efforts to expand and generate new revenue, this position is key to developing fiscal goals around the agencies main income source (340B) while working to diversify into alternative financial opportunities.

Reports to: CEO

Essential Job Functions:

• Oversight and Management of key financial revenue including 340B, Revenue Cycle management and grant funding.
• In coordination with the CEO and Board of Directors develop a strategic financial plan for the agency.
• Conduct internal Audits of all financial matters particularly around 340B and Revenue Cycle Management.
• Supports monthly and year-end financial closing.

Management Duties:

• Oversight and lead all matters relating to NOVUS Health 340B program.
• Manage key staff overseeing financial, 340B and grants services.
• Manage all activities for 340B ensuring compliance with Federal guidelines.
• Work with accountant and department Manager and/or Director to ensure program budgets are reviewed and monitored. Engage departments in fund generating opportunities.
• Oversight of grant funds from multiple sources including federal, State and foundation funding.
• Manage daily financial activities as required by program(s).
• Develop Policies & Procedures

Audits:

• Coordinate and lead process for 340B internal and external audits.
• Manage all federal, State and local grant awards.

• Assist in the preparation for annual fiscal audits.
• Work with outside accounting firm to prepare and complete annual 990.
• Maintain confidentiality on all financial matters.
• Projects and Other duties as assigned.

Board Responsibilities:

• Serve as a lead member of the Board of Directors Fiscal subcommittee.
• Provide CEO with outlines of budget findings and monthly reporting.
• Serve as the 340B liaison to all outside board and organizational contacts.
• Conduct all 340B reporting within and outside the financial report. Providing comprehensive direction to the CEO and Board.
• Present to the Board of Directors on Financial health of organization as requested and needed.
• Maintain strong communication with CEO regarding all financial matters.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in business administration, Non-profit management, or related field with direct experience in grants management 340B program income oversight, revenue cycle management and diversified funding sources. 5+ years of experience in health-related financial matters with a specialty knowledge in 340B services is preferred.
