Maintenance Technician / Packaging Assistant

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician / Packaging Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders, repairing equipment and other required tasks. Lexington Coffee & Tea operates as a coffee roasting and packaging company that serves restaurants, coffee shops, and businesses in Lexington and surrounding areas. The company operates in a warehouse environment where the ability to multitask, work independently, and complete tasks efficiently is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion (Cleaning and repairing Bunn coffee machines and grinders)
• Estimate time and extent of repairs
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, including In-house repairs and maintenance such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, etc.
• Maintain material and supply inventory
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
• Manufacturing and packaging product to leave the warehouse daily
• Drive to and from account offices to service machinery

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Must be able to drive
• Some customer service desired

This position is considered manual labor in a warehouse environment and should be considered when applying. Applicants must be able to stand for several hours at a time, move quickly, and be able to lift 50 pounds, and legally be able to drive.
