Cashier at Our Daily Bread Bistro - Jefferson Street

Our Daily Bread Bakery & Bistro in Roanoke, VA is looking for one cashier to join our team. We just opened up our newest location on Jefferson Street and are looking for bakery cashiers to join our growing team. We are located on 1003 S. Jefferson St. We are a dynamic, fast-paced environment with many opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering and leaving the business
• Take customer orders and enter into POS system
• Take cash payments and process card payments
• Package bakery items for customers and servers
• Make espresso drinks
• Open the bakery and restaurant
• Close the bakery and restaurant
• Cash management
• Clean dining room
• Great and seat customers
• Answer customer questions regarding menu items and catering
• Receive catering orders
• Answer the phones
• Assist servers in serving tables
• Help run foods
• Bus and clean tables
• Sweep and mop floors
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Provide exceptional customer service

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $12.00/hour.
