Job Description

WHO WE ARE: Rose & Lee is a women’s clothing, accessory, and gift boutique partnering with conscientious brands committed to making the world a better place. We elevate the stories of the makers and brand owners while educating and building a community of thoughtful consumers. Our goal is to empower and create transformation for women locally and around the world. 

We are a rapidly growing boutique and are looking to add another rockstar to our growing team. Our work environment is fast paced, fun and uplifting. We take serving our customers very seriously, but don’t take ourselves very seriously as we share a lot of laughs throughout the day. We’re a nimble team that continues to expand our offerings and find new and creative ways to serve our community. Change around here is frequent and problem solving and process improvement is non-stop.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are looking to add a full-time team member who will serve our customers with joy and lead our team of part-time sales associates. Ultimately, you will help Rose & Lee fulfill our purpose of creating a safe & uplifting space for women to connect, laugh and do good. Weekly hours for this role will be 10-6 T, 11-6 W-Th, 11-8 Fri-Sa

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works in tandem with the leadership team to develop a comprehensive and strategic annual customer retention plan to maximize Rose & Lee’s customer loyalty and provide an exceptional customer experience.

  • Responsible for the overall management of the daily operations of our boutique. To include:

    • Staff Management

      • Recruit, train, and motivate sales staff to build high performing team and strong bench of future leaders

      • Coach, teach and develop employees towards success

      • Oversee implementation of organizational processes to ensure operational excellence 

      • Ensures wages, work hours, and equal employment opportunities are upheld according to federal and state laws

    • Customer Experience

      • Drive customer service excellence to every aspect of the store, including store appearance, display of merchandise, product placement, story layout, and selling procedures

      • Monitor and analyze market trends and customer needs

      • Investigate and effectively address customer complaints and concerns

      • Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge and maintain awareness of new products and services

      • Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock is available to meet customer demands

      • Partner with marketing team to develop and implement business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic and increase sales and profitability

      • Manage customer service communication channels

      • Manage in-store shopping parties

    • Merchandising

      • Ensure new merchandise is processed and on the sales floor in a timely manner

      • Maintain a high standard of merchandising, placement, store signage and display

      • Monitor stock and inventory, and perform quality assurance of merchandise on a regular basis

    • Receiving, Fulfillment & Inventory Management

      • Receive all shipments, verify inventory and communicate any issues to vendors for return/replacement

      • Oversee fulfillment of all online orders

      • Perform regular audits on inventory counts and manages quarterly full store inventories

REQUIREMENTS:

  • An inviting and welcoming personality. You find ways to be engaging and intentional with everyone you meet. 

  • Clear, concise & captivating communicator

  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Previous experience in retail management or store management is preferred

  • Solution oriented. When you find a problem, you’re the first to start thinking of solutions and ideas for improvement

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Reliable Transportation
